santa beards

What makes Santa so distinct? His jolly attitude? His big round belly? That amazing crushed velvet red suit? No way! It's the beard. I swear. What better way to celebrate the impending arrival of Santa than to give a salute to his best feature?!

Yesterday we made these beards and the kids found it hilarious, as did many of their parents. They loved running around with big bushy beards asking each other "What do you want for Christmas?" and "Have you been good this year little boy?" It was very cute.

Needless to say, we even had a little fun with our own beard at home. Max refused to wear it for a picture, but couldn't stop giggling when Joe and I took turns chasing him around chuckling "ho ho ho!"

Give it a try! Hope you have as much fun as we did!

This might become my profile pic on every social networking site I belong to!
