An oobleck kind of day

How was your weekend? Hopefully you have today off and are still enjoying it! We had so much fun doing a babysitting swap with our friends. On Saturday we got to have a date night and on Sunday we watched their daughter, Maia, while they went out. The kids had a dance party, ate pasta, dramatically reenacted the Three Little Pigs and made Oobleck, so all in all it was a good night.

Have you ever made Oobleck? It's easy to make (and to clean up) and so much fun for kids of all ages. Here's what you need:

1 cup of water
2 cups of cornstarch
food coloring

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and play! You might want to add a few toys into the mix, we grabbed some plastic dinosaurs to make dinosaur soup.
