Yesterday I had my students work on developing their superheroes. They drew a picture of what their hero might look like, came up with a name and superpowers. As always I was blown away by how creative and clever they are! I think my favorite superhero from yesterday was "Chicken", a lightening resistant, able to sleep at will, broccoli morphing superhero. I'm not sure how valuable the powers of turning into broccoli or falling asleep at will are, but I very much enjoy the idea of them.
