Summer camp week 1: Paper Architecture
6.20.2013
Since paper was the theme this week, I decided we'd end on a little paper challenge. This one's a "team building" challenge so you'll need a partner...
Pick a landmark in your city, a building, a bridge, whatever you want. The trick is you have to build it out of paper and tape. Nothing else. (Okay maybe you can fudge that rule a bit).
Joe and I worked together to make this local landmark- the "dinosaurs" of the Port of Oakland.
materials:
Paper towel rolls
Toilet paper rolls
Tape
get to work:
1. There are no real instructions here. The fun is in figuring out how to replicate your landmark with such simple materials.
PS
More about the Oakland "dinosaurs" here and here.
