Tie Dye Hearts


Simple and sweet, these tie-dye paper hearts make for lovely valentines and even lovelier decorations. All you need are some coffee filters, water colors and an eye dropper! 


We hung some of our hearts from branches in our classroom. 



materials:

watercolors
eye dropper
scissors
coffee filter
paper towel
small cups

get to work:

1. Place a few different watercolors into the small cups. 

2. Cut the coffee filter in the shape of a heart. 

3. Place one filter on top of a few paper towels. 

4. Fill the eye dropper with watercolor and drip the paint onto the filter. Repeat with other colors. 

5. Lay flat to dry.
