Say "I love you" with a post card
2.14.2013
I purchased some blank post cards a few months ago at an art supply store and haven't really used them much. The problem with blank cards is that the possibilities are really endless and that can be intimidating, but I decided to give it a go today since Max and I were at home while he recovered from a cold. What we came up with was a Valentine themed post card for Grandma. A little tape, a little paint and ta-da! Simple, easy and sweet. What more could a Grandma ask for?
materials:
card stock/blank post card
paint
sponge
masking tape
scissors
get to work:
1. Cut out the letters L O V E from the masking tape and help your child place them on the card.
2. Dab a little paint on the sponge and wipe the sponge over the letters.
3. Let the card dry and then remove the tape.
4. Flip it over and write Grandma a love note. Be sure to sign it xoxo!
