How can you make a difference?

As promised, here is a photo of our classroom activity for MLK Day, (I edited out the names of the school/kids which is why it's a bit choppy). I cut out small clouds and then had each child decorate them while they thought about the question "How can you make a difference at school, home or in your neighborhood?" Then we displayed their clouds along with their quotes.


If you're looking for more MLK Day activities here are some suggestions:

Make a mini Martin Luther King Jr. using a toilet paper tube.

Decorate colorful peace sign plates.

A great printable - MLK Jr. quote and a hand print to hang in your classroom/ home.

For older kids and adults - an MLK Jr. do it yourself t-shirt!
