Now that the excitement of the holidays is over, I'm feeling the need to be a little more creative in order to keep the kids interested and engaged. Which is why today's project combines, one part arts and crafts and one part imaginative play. Gotta keep those kids busy!
materials:
construction paper
scissors or large thumb tack
small stick
string
tape
1. Google "dinosaur silhouette" and pick out a dinosaur shape. Print.
2. Place the print out over the construction paper. You can now either cut out the shape of the dinosaur or place the papers on top of a carpeted area and using the thumb tack, poke the holes around the shape until you can pop the shape out of the paper. *This way is fun for older kids, but requires some patience.
3. Tie two pieces of string to your stick and tape the ends of the string to the back of the dinosaur.
4. Play
