what to do with all that candy - candy rockets

So Halloween is behind us and all that's left is candy. Candy that hopefully isn't disappearing too quickly! Looking at Max's stash I couldn't help, but ask "what else can you do with this stuff?" I know for a few people the Halloween Fairy is on her way, but until then here are a few ideas of what do to with all that sweet stuff, (aside from taking it to work for your co-workers to begrudgingly eat): candy box rockets, science experiments and baking with left over candy.

materials:

candy box (emptied)
tape
construction paper
markers
scissors

get to work:

1. Tape down one end of the box and leave the other end open.

2. Cut a long strip of construction paper that is long enough to wrap around the box and wide enough to cover it completely. Glue or tape this down.

3. Take another piece of construction paper and cut out a triangle with a rounded bottom. This will be the cone at the top of your rocket.

4. Attach the cone to the body.

5. Decorate your rocket and trim the open end to resemble fire.
