When my older brother was in college, he and his roommates got a Christmas tree for their apartment. They decorated it with action figures and odds and ends. I thought it was the coolest tree around (granted I was a teenager at the time). This year, we wont be pulling out all the Christmas decor because we'll be spending most of our holiday away. However, I really wanted to get Max a tiny tree to decorate. That's when I remembered my brother's tree and thought, what fun, let's let Max decorate the tree with whatever he wants this year!
So we went on a hunt to find some lightweight toys and knick-knacks to decorate our tree with. Here's what we came up with!
materials:
light weight toys
string
scissors
get to work:
1. Hunt down your material. Small toys, action figures, masks, fake flowers, beads, feathers etc. are light weight and work well.
2. Tie your string around the item and decorate!
3. Ta da! You're finished!
