mummies for toddlers

Not to be left out, toddlers who may not be able to make the finger puppet monsters might like this one, and it's incredibly simple! 

materials:

toilet paper roll
marker
tissue paper/cheese cloth (cut into strips)
glue

get to work:

1. Lay out the strip of paper or cloth.

2. Put a little glue at one end of the strip and attach it to the tp roll.

3. Spread out the rest of the paper/cloth and show the child how to put glue along the entire piece.

4. Roll the tp roll over the strip, wrapping the paper/cloth around it.

*If you use a glue stick you can hold the tp roll upright while the child wraps the paper/cloth around it.

5. Once you've finished you can decorate with googly eyes, stickers or simply draw on a face with the marker.
