Washi Tape Menorahs

How is it almost Hanukkah already? And how exactly does that work when it coincides with Thanksgiving? These are mysteries to me, as we don't really celebrate it in our house. But we do celebrate it at school because we believe it's important to teach our students about all the ways people celebrate the holidays.

In efforts to help educate Max (and myself really) about the celebration of Chanukah we made our own kid friendly menorah out of washi tape. It's pretty simple, all you really need is the basic outline for a menorah, wall space and scissors. For the "flame" we used yellow foam paper, but you can use tissue paper or regular paper too. Try it out and let me know what you think!
