Summer Camp Week 4: Space

Here's an older project from earlier this year. It's space themed, so I figured I'd post it again, plus we had a lot of fun playing our little rocket finger puppet. Click on the link to go to the original post or continue reading to see it here.

materials:
white & black felt
glue/glue gun
scissors
marker
mesh fruit wrapping

get to work:
1. Begin by folding the felt in half and drawing the outline of your spaceship on to the felt.

2. Cut out your ship.

3. Cut a small piece of the mesh and glue it to the bottom of both felt pieces. Let dry.

4. Once the mesh has dried, put glue on the edges of one spaceship outline, skipping the bottom. Place the second outline on top of the first. Let dry.

5.  Now you're ready to decorate. Use the black felt to make windows, the cone at the top of the ship etc.

6. Stick it on your finger and fly to the moon!
