Screen Printing 101

I tried my first Artful Parent project today and the kids loved it. I think their favorite part was getting to paint something they usually aren't supposed to paint!

materials:
tempera paint
sponges
trays/glass baking pans
paper
water and paper towels for clean up

get to work:
1. Have the child paint with sponges on the tray or flip over the baking pan and let them paint on the bottom.

2. Once the paint has been applied, show your child how to draw with their finger on the paint, making shapes, faces, etc.

3. Finally place a piece of paper over painted area, press down (make sure not to move the paper too much) and peel up.
