In need of Inspiration

Sometimes I hit a complete road block. I might have a thousand ideas of projects to make with Max or my students, but none of them seem to have that oomph! So what do I do? I step back, take a breath and tell a joke. Being silly seems to be a great cure for frustration, it gets your mind off of what you're stuck on and helps you relax which in turn helps the creativity flow. (This even works with children).

Lately my favorite joke, that's kid appropriate, is this one that my husband came up with, it's lame, but I love it:

Q: What did the kitty say when he hurt his paw?

A: Meeee-ouch!

Max finds it funny which makes me giggle. Oh stress relievers! What about you? Got any good solutions for creative road blocks? Better yet, heard any good jokes lately?

PS
My other favorite "ouch" joke (for the grown ups) : Man walks into a bar...OUCH!
