advent calendars

What will you be working on over the holiday weekend? I'll be making the holiday gift for our school party in a few weeks, sewing a heat pack for my husband and creating advent calendars to send off to my nieces.

While I'm working on those, I'll share some of my inspiration.

These little wrapped packages could hold candy, small toys, little love notes, the possibilities are endless!

If you want to take a simpler route, you can find boxes like these at Michael's or any craft store and use a stamp to apply the numbers. You could also let your little one decorate the boxes with paint or crayons. 

 

This one is quite possibly my favorite. I love the use of mismatched paper and the wavy road! 

This one is a little closer to the one I'm working on. I love the tiny clothespins!
