Vik Muniz inspired cloud art

Alas today was our final day of Vik Muniz inspired art. I'm bummed to see our Art History month go, but excited at all the Spring/Summer inspired work to come!

For our last day I placed a big bag of cotton balls in the middle of the table and let the kids be as creative as they wanted to be. It was fun watching them figure out how to pull, twist and shape the cotton balls into something. And it was especially fun showing them how to make cotton ball mustaches. What can I say? Art is a serious thing.

You might find it helpful to print out some pictures of basic shapes or images for the kids, to help them visualize different shapes and images.
