what to do with dried up markers

I find markers easily dry up when young children (and old) use them. So why not take the remains and turn them into watercolor? It's easy and you shouldn't ever have to buy watercolors again!

materials:
Water
Old markers
Small jars (baby food jars with lids work well)

get to work:
1. Fill the jars half way with water.
2. Place the marker in the water and let it soak for a few hours or overnight.
3. You're finished! Store the jars for later use.

hint:
For a stronger color soak multiple markers of the same color in the water. You can also try making different hues by mixing colors.
